Sometimes the stars align and it’s beautiful outside or it’s just dumb-luck.  For any reason its always a joy to figure things out with like minded people than freaking out on a project that seems too big to swallow.

Over this last Christmas, Derek was in town and needed to fluff up his portfolio for grad-school and CWOCA was in need of some designs.  For one of our first project together, Derek decided to use a concept from art school and thought he would do it again once he found a nice supply of e-waste at the recycling center.  Projecting light through a motherboard, was a simple concept and I had my doubts, but enjoyed the end results.  The resulting project turned into a prototype for a bigger lighting project.
